Condensed Milk Cookies
Ingredients
• 2½ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
• 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
• ½ cup cornstarch
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ tsp salt
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Cream the butter until light and fluffy.
3. Add the condensed milk and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth.
4. Sift together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
6. Scoop or pipe the dough onto the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each cookie.
7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
