Rack of lamb from the oven

Rack of lamb from the oven – we show you how to make your rack of lamb nice and tender with spicy herbs. Very easy at home in the oven. Soooo delicious!

300 g lamb with bones

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of freshly ground black pepper

2 tbsp sunflower oil

2 – 3 sprigs of thyme

1. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees circulating air (120 degrees top and bottom heat). Season the rack of lamb on both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a pan with the sunflower oil and fry the rack of lamb on all sides over a medium heat until golden brown.

2. Meanwhile, add the thyme sprigs and fry them too. While frying, drizzle the drippings over the rack of lamb.  This way the lamb gets the taste of the herbs and the fat becomes crispy.

3. Put the meat in a dish and put it in the oven for about 30-45 minutes and cook until pink.

4. After cooking, you can put the meat back in the hot pan and fry it all around for about 1 minute per side so that the meat gets hot again. Enjoy your meal!
