For a 20x8cm straight cake tin Cake paste
120g of sugar
110g liquid cream
5g baking powder
30g melted butter
2 teaspoons liquid vanilla extract
170g chocolate (milk or dark)
40g neutral oil
25g praline (or previously roasted and crushed hazelnuts)
For the cake:
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Put the melted butter, the liquid cream, the sugar, the vanilla extract in the bowl of the Thermomix and mix 30sec/speed4.
Add eggs, flour, baking powder and mix 30 sec/speed 4. Bake for about 37 minutes (more or less to watch). Let cool.
For the rock icing:
Melt the chocolate (with milk for me) in the microwave (between 42 and 45 degrees, that is to say about 1min30 and stirring every 30 seconds) with a tablespoon of oil. Add the remaining oil and the praline then mix.
Let the frosting cool (30 to 35 degrees) before pouring it on the cake. Chill the cake before cutting it.
