Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream
1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
¾ cup (150 g) granulated sugar
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional, for extra flavor)
Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, vanilla extract, vanilla bean paste (if using), and salt until the sugar dissolves.

Stir in the heavy cream and mix well.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions (about 20–25 minutes).

Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for 2–4 hours for a firmer texture.
Scoop and serve with fresh berries, chocolate sauce, or your favorite toppings.
