Are made with lovely heart cut and dipped with melted chocolate and coated in colorful sprinkles.

I have been planning to make heart-cut cookies for a long time so it’s the time and I’m so happy they came out so perfect and cute just what they look!

They are irresistible, so fun, and easy to make with only 7 ingredients, naturally vegan, gluten-free, oil-free and the ultimate treat for Valentine’s day!

Ingredient:

1 cup oat flour (120g)
1/3 cup tapioca starch (40g)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup tahini / runny cashew butter (60g)
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce (60g)
3 tbsp maple syrup (60g)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For the glaze:

melted dark chocolate + sprinkles

Preheat the oven to 356 F/ 180 C. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside.

In a mixing bowl, start by mixing all the dry ingredients until combined.

In another bowl, mix well all the wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until form a dough.

Roll out the dough using a rolling pin to 1/4 of an inch in thickness. Use a heart cutter to cut out heart shapes.

Place the cutout cookies on the baking tray with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Let cool on cookie sheets, then move to a wire rack before decorating. 9) Using a microwave or a double boiler, melt the chocolate to a silky-smooth consistency.

Decorate each cookie with drizzled chocolate and coated with sprinkles.
