4 grilling strip loin steaks 2.5 cm thick
1 C. dry red wine
2 tbsp. chopped onions
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 cup of beef broth
1 pinch of thyme
1 C. butter, melted
pepper

Brush the steaks with a mixture of melted butter and 1 Tbsp. of dry red wine. Pepper.

Grill over medium-high heat, 5 to 7 min per side for rare steaks, 7 to 9 min per side for well-done steaks. Turn only once with pliers.

While the steaks cook, sauté the onions and mushrooms in a nonstick skillet until softened.
