Chocolate chip cookie cake

Ingredients for the cookie cake:

 

1 cup softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs cornstarch
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips

Ingredients for the frosting:

1/2 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tbs milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Cream together the butter and sugars until nice and smooth. Add all of the dry ingredients and mix with a spoon until a dough forms.

Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Grease a springform pan with cooking spray and line the bottom of the pan with a layer of cookie dough.

Add a few dollops of Nutella to the center and spread with a spoon. Add the last layer of cookie dough and top with more chocolate chips.

Bake at 350F for 35 minutes. Make the icing by mixing together the butter, sugar, milk and vanilla extract.

 

Allow the cookie cake to cool for about 20 minutes before adding the icing. Spoon the icing into a piping bag and pipe a border around the edge of the cookie. I hope you enjoy 🙂
