COOKIES & CREAM DONUTS

Ingredients: 🍩

 

30g  cookie or vanilla protein (discount code: amb-miranda)
95g self raising flour (can use GF)
100g 
Pinch of salt
150-160ml unsweetened almond milk
1 tbs nuttelex, melted
1 tbs apple sauce
1 tsp vanilla extract

Icing:

100g light cream cheese
1/2 – 1 tbs  (I blended mine into powder)
2 Oreos, crushed

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180°C and lightly grease a donut tin

2 In a bowl whisk together the dry ingredients
3. Add the wet ingredients and fold to combine

4. Pour the batter into the donut tin (makes 8 donuts), filling them 3/4 of the way and bake for 8-10 minutes

5. Mix cream cheese and icing sugar until smooth. Add a splash of almond milk to thin if needed.

 

6. Allow the donuts to cool slightly then ice with frosting and sprinkle over the Oreos

Macros per donut (not including icing): 72 calories, 5g P, 6.9g C, 1.9g F

Macros per donut (with icing & oreos): 107 calories, 6.2g P, 9.4g C, 4.1g F
