CREAMY MILLEFEUGE DESSERT
Creamy Millefeuille Dessert is a delightful French pastry dessert known for its layers of flaky puff pastry and rich, velvety pastry cream. To make this exquisite treat, begin by baking sheets of puff pastry until they are golden and crispy. Meanwhile, prepare a luscious pastry cream by simmering milk, sugar, and vanilla, then slowly whisking it into a mixture of egg yolks and cornstarch until thickened.
450 gr puff pastry
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
150 gr of sugar
75 g of starch
750 gr milk
240 g of whipped cream
In a saucepan, pour the milk and combine the sugar, egg yolks, vanilla and starch. Stir until thickened, then add a tablespoon of butter and mix. Let cool.
Cut the dough and bake at 190º for 25 minutes.
Add the cream to the whipped cream and assemble the cake. Put in the freezer for 2 hours and then serve.
