FRIED EGGPLANT STICKS

Fried eggplant sticks make for a delicious and crispy snack or side dish. To prepare them, slice eggplants into stick-shaped pieces and dip them in a seasoned batter, typically made with flour, eggs, and spices. The coated eggplant sticks are then deep-fried until golden brown and crispy.

Ingredients:

2 medium eggplants
2 large eggs (or 3 medium)
sweet paprika
garlic powder
Salt and pepper based
110g flour
80g cheddar cheese
170g flour for breading
Oil for frying

Indications:

1. Wash the eggplants well and cut them into strips.

2. Add salt and let sit for 15 minutes.

3. Batter: in a bowl mix the yogurt with the eggs, paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, flour and cheese.

4. Dip the eggplants first in the flour and then in the batter.

5. Fry in hot oil and serve.
