Fudgey Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

ingredients:

 

-224g (1 cup) mashed banana
-43g (1/2 cup) coconut flour
-29g (1/4 cup) almond flour
-72g (1/3 cup) milk
-1 egg (or egg substitute)
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-29g (3 tbsp) coconut sugar
-chocolate chips (as much as you like)

Icing aka yogurt frosting


-1/2 cup – 3/4 cup greek yogurt/regular yogurt
i used vegan coconut yogurt
-1-2 scoops vanilla/chocolate protein powder
optional; only for the taste
-or vanilla extract + sweetener optional

how to:

 

-preheat the oven to 350 °F
(180 °C)

-mash the bananas in a bowl
-add all the other ingredients to the bowl & mix until well combined

-don’t forget to mix in the chocolate chips

-grease a cake pan of your liking (you don’t have to use a cake form it could also be a muffin form etc)

-add the batter to your greased form
-bake for 30-35 min *or until desired texture* (if the top of the cake is turning to dark make sure to cover it with some parchment paper
-let the cake cool down before removing it from the form

 

-mix all the ingredients for the icing together & spread it evenly on top of the cake + cherries 🙂
