INVERTED PINEAPPLE CAKE 😋

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of wheat flour
½ cup unsalted butter
1¼ cups sugar
2 eggs
¾ cup yogurt
1 tablespoon of aged rum
¼ teaspoon salt
1 can of pineapple slices in syrup

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

2. In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, then add ½ cup of sugar.  Let it turn to caramel.  Lay out the pineapple slices.  Remove from heat and reserve.

3. In a bowl, with an electric mixer, mix the butter with ¾ cups of sugar until creamy.

4. Add the eggs one by one.

5. With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour and yogurt.

6. Add the rum.

7. Pour the mixture into the dish prepared with the pineapple slices.

8. Bake for about 40 minutes until the cake is golden.

9. Remove from the oven and let cool.

10. Unmold carefully and enjoy.
