Meatballs stuffed with cheese
Mouthwatering meatballs, perfectly seasoned and tender, conceal a delightful surprise within – a gooey center of melted cheese. As these savory spheres cook, the cheese transforms into a luscious, molten pool, adding a rich and creamy contrast to the hearty meat.
Ingredients
600 grams of ground beef
½ onion finely chopped
½ cup of breadcrumbs
2 eggs
4 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. garlic powder
400 grams of Manchego cheese in large cubes
5 tbsp. Of olive oil
2 cups of tomato puree
2 hydrated guajillo chiles
1 clove garlic
½ tbsp. ground cumin
1 bay leaf
Préparation
1-Mix the meat with the egg, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, onion and garlic powder. Form the meatballs by placing a cube of cheese in the center of each one and brown them in a large frying pan with the olive oil.
2-Meanwhile, blend the tomato with the guajillo, garlic and cumin. Pour over the meatballs, add the bay leaf and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
