Mochaccino Fudge Cake

200g Bournville dark chocolate 
200g butter
200g soft light brown sugar
2 eggs
120ml sour cream
6tbsp cocoa powder
200g self raising flour
4tbsp brewed coffee

Coffee icing
1/4 cup instant coffee
300g icing sugar
120g butter


1.Melt butter, dark chocolate, sugar in a saucepan. Cool for 5 mins add to mixing bowl.

2.Add eggs and sour cream and coffee mix until combined.

3.Sift the flour and cocoa into the mix. Pour into two 7″ cake tins.
4.Bake cakes for 25 mins.

5.Soften the butter in a blender, sift the icing sugar into the bowl.


6.Alternate the coffee and icing sugar until buttercream is combined and creamy.
7.Once cakes have cooled cut in half so you have 4 layers.

8.Assemble cake and stuff your face!!
