Rice hen with Cookeo

Cookeo Rice Chicken is a winter dish that will bring the whole family together for a delicious, convivial meal. This recipe requires very little preparation and will give you plenty of time to enjoy your loved ones while cooking: your Moulinex multi-cooker robot takes care of everything … or almost!



1 hen 1 l of dry white wine
250 g of rice
2 carrots
2 onions
15 prunes
60 gr of butter
60 gr of flour
25 cl of heavy cream
3 cloves
2 cloves of garlic
1 bouquet garnisel, pepper

PREPARATION: Preparation 10 min Cooking 50 min

  1. Heat the Cookeo on “brown” mode then sauté the chopped onions in olive oil until they become translucent. Add the hen and cook it on all sides.

Drizzle with white wine then add the sliced ​​carrots, prunes, cloves, crushed garlic and the bouquet garni.

  1. Program the Cookeo in “fast cooking” or “pressure cooking” / immediate start mode and adjust the cooking time to 30 min. Close the lid and cook.
  2. Meanwhile, make a roux with the flour and butter and cook the rice in a large saucepan.
  3. When the cooking is finished, open the Cookeo, test the cooking of the hen and remove it from the bowl if it is sufficiently cooked (put back into pressure cooking if necessary). Add the roux to the bowl, mix with a spatula and pour in the crème fraîche. Let heat and thicken in “brown” mode. Season to your liking and add the hen. Serve with the rice.
