Unicorn lemon loaf cake

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE LACE PAN (25 X 11 CM)

a little fat
a little wheat flour

BATTER FOR UNICORN CAKE

1 baking powder Dr. Oetker lemon cake
150 g soft margarine or butter
3 eggs (size M)
100 ml milk

FOR DECORATION

about 3 tablespoons hot water
Dr. Oetker decoration for unicorn worlds unicorn mix

PREPARATION

1. Prepare
Grease and flour the loaf pan. Preheat the oven.

Top and bottom heat: about 180 °C
Hot air: about 160 °C

2. Prepare the batter
Put the baking mix in a mixing bowl, add margarine or butter, eggs and milk. Mix everything with a mixer (beaters) briefly on the lowest setting, then on the highest setting for about 3 minutes until you have a smooth dough. Pour the dough into the loaf pan. Put the pan on the rack in the oven.

After about 15 minutes of baking, cut the cake lengthways in the middle with a sharp knife about 1 cm deep.

Insert: lower third
Baking time: about 60 minutes

Leave the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and glaze immediately.

3. Prepare and decorate the glaze
Put the glaze mixture (included with the baking mix) in a small bowl. Add hot water, stir to a thick glaze, then pour it onto the cake and spread it with a knife.  Sprinkle the decorations on immediately and let the cake cool on a cake rack.

4. Cut indentations into the cake with a table knife. Insert the head and tail template.
