Cassava balls stuffed with cheese or meat

These yucca balls are delicious, traditional Dominican cuisine

Ingredients:

 

2 Kilos cassava boiled with salt
2 egg yolks
1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 stick butter
1 teaspoon parsley or coriander Hot sauce 1/2 teaspoon sugar to taste Salt Cheese or meat to fill
2 tablespoons flour.

Preparation:

 

Steps The cassava is boiled with salt until it is soft.

Take it out of the water and let it cool. Make a puree with the yucca and add all the ingredients except the cheese or the meat that will be used for filling.

Mix well, make a dough. Pour on a plate and take it to the freezer for 10 minutes.

 

Remove from the fridge and make balls and fill with cheese or meat. After the balls are made, fry in plenty of hot oil until you see them turn yellow.
