Fluffy orange cake

A fluffy orange cake is a delightful treat that combines the bright citrus flavor of oranges with the light, airy texture of a perfectly baked cake.

Ingredients:

3 eggs
1/2 cup of oil
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of orange juice
2 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder

Method of preparation:

First sift the wheat flour (to avoid lumps) into a bowl, add the yeast and set aside;
In a blender, beat the eggs very well until you can see air bubbles, then add the oil and sugar, always beating.

Pour this mixture together with the cup of orange juice over the flour and yeast.

Mix gently until well homogenized, pour into a greased and floured pan and bake in a medium oven at 200° for about 40 minutes or until golden;

Syrup preparation: (optional)
Add the juice of 4 oranges with half the amount of sugar (in cups) of sugar, heat over medium heat until it becomes jelly-like, then pour it onto the cake while it is still hot.
