Pizza dough is one of the most requested recipes and who doesn’t like to enjoy the delicious Italian dish?  Luckily, it is also simple to make, it does not require many ingredients and the preparation does not involve many steps.

• To make half a kilo of dough that can be used for several pizzas, gather these ingredients:

• 500 grams of common wheat flour

• 325 ml of warm water

• 1 tablespoon of salt

• 1 teaspoon of sugar

• 7 grams of dry yeast

• 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Preparation of pizza dough

Preparing pizza dough has no big secrets, so you can make one yourself in the best Italian style:

• In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt and sugar.

• Add the yeast.  Mix with a spatula so that the ingredients are integrated.

• It is time to add the liquid ingredients, that is, the water and olive oil.

• Spread wheat flour on the counter and knead the dough for 3 to 4 minutes without stopping, until you feel that it is soft and smooth.

• You have to let the dough rise for 30 minutes.  To do this, put a cloth on the bowl and set aside in a warm place.

• After this time, knead to eliminate the air.

• Divide the dough into 2 or 4 parts depending on the number of pizzas you want to prepare and their sizes.

• Stretch the dough on the counter, add your favorite ingredients and put it in the oven, preheating to 220º.  The pizza will be ready in approximately 10 minutes or when it is golden brown.
