Layered salad 🥗 😋
Our classic layered salad is simply the best – and an absolute party hit! You’ll love the creamy sauce with whipped cream and Miracel Whip!
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE SALAD
3 eggs
1 can of corn (1 can of 400 g)
1 can of pineapple chunks (1 can of 150 g each)
1 piece Leek
2 medium apples
150 g celeriac
150 g cooked ham
FOR THE SAUCE
250g Miracel Whip
100 ml whipped cream
¼ tsp salt
1 large pinch of black pepper
ASIDE FROM THAT
100g grated cheese
PREPARATION
1. For the layered salad, boil the eggs hard for about 8 minutes, quench and let cool. Peel the eggs and dice roughly.
Place the corn in a sieve, wash with cold water and drain. Drain the pineapple and let it drain.
2. Cut the leek lengthwise and wash, drain and then cut into rings. Peel the apples and celery.
Core the apples and grate the apple pulp and celery into sticks using a grater or slicer. Cut the cooked ham into thin strips.
3. For the Miracel Whip sauce, mix with cream, salt and pepper. Layer the ingredients (eggs, corn, pineapple pieces, leek, apples, celery, ham) one after the other in a large, glass bowl (approx. 25 cm in diameter), add 2-3 layers of sauce in between and finish with the grated cheese.
Let the salad rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving. Bon appetit!
