Potato and carrot soup

Our vegetarian potato and carrot soup is very easy to prepare and is soooo good! You will definitely save the recipe for the potato and carrot soup.



1 large onion
600 g carrots
300 g potatoes (starchy)
50 ml olive oil
20 g butter
600 ml vegetable or chicken stock
ยผ tsp salt
2 pinches pepper
200 ml cream

4 tbsp sour cream
Fresh herbs (e.g. parsley)


1. For the carrot soup with potatoes, peel the onion and dice finely. Wash, peel and roughly dice the carrots. Wash, peel and dice the potatoes. Heat the olive oil and butter together in a large saucepan.

2. First, roast half of the carrot cubes for about 3-4 minutes over medium heat, then add the onion cubes and fry for another 2-3 minutes. Add the second half of the carrot cubes and the potato cubes, pour in the stock.

3. Season with salt and pepper and cook the vegetables until soft for about 20 minutes. Pour in the cream and puree the soup until smooth.

4. Serve the soup in deep plates and put the sour cream in the middle of the plate. Wash the herbs, drain and chop the leaves lightly. Sprinkle the soup with pepper and decorate with fresh herbs. Enjoy!
