Stuffed mushrooms

Stuffed mushrooms with minced meat and cream sauce are quickly prepared in the oven.

The stuffed mushrooms are not only delicious on their own, but also with a side dish such as rice.

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE MINCED FILLING

1 medium onion.
½ bunch parsley.
200 g minced beef.
20 g breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs.
½ tsp ground pepper.
1 teaspoon paprika powder.
½ tsp salt.
1 egg.

ASIDE FROM THAT
8 – 10 large, brown mushrooms.
softened butter for the casserole dish.
150 ml cream.
Bowl of water.

PREPARATION

1. For the minced filling, peel and finely dice the onion.

Wash the parsley, remove the stem and chop finely.

2. Put the minced meat in a bowl and add breadcrumbs, diced onions, half of the chopped parsley and spices.

Whisk the eggs in a bowl and beat well into the mixture with a spoon.

Let rest for at least 10 minutes.  Meanwhile, clean the mushrooms and break out the stems.

3. Wet your hands with cold water (preferably have a bowl of water ready) and form walnut-sized meatballs.

Stuff the meatballs into the hollowed out mushrooms.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top and bottom heat.

4. Brush a baking dish with soft butter and place the mushrooms in it.

Sprinkle salt and pepper over it and cook in the oven for about 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, pour in the cream and bake for another 15-20 minutes (depending on the size of the mushrooms).

Sprinkle with the remaining parsley before serving.
