If there is one time in the year when you are allowed to let go and have some fun, it is Christmas time. Good family meals around exceptional products such as seafood, that’s all that’s true! On this occasion, we offer you a grilled lobster in the oven. Accompanied by a white butter sauce and cognac.

3 lobsters
100 g of soft butter
3 tbsp. cognac
salt pepper

15 min
10 minutes

To prepare your grilled lobster in the oven, heat a pot of lightly salted boiling water and dip your lobsters in it. Let them cook for only a minute. Drain them and let them cool down. When your lobsters are no longer too hot, take a large knife and cut them in half, taking care to remove the gravel pocket and the hose.

A little helpful tip, cut your lobster in half from the head to the tail. Cut off the head first, then the tail. Give the lobster claws a little knife to open them slightly and facilitate cooking. Keep the lobsters cool.

Whip the butter with the Cognac, salt, and pepper. Preheat the oven on the grill position. Brush the lobsters generously with creamed cognac butter and place them on the oven rack. And cook the lobster on the grill.

Place them in the oven and cook for 6 to 8 minutes. Your grilled lobster recipe will be ready. To keep it perfectly hot, serve it right out of the oven.
